Again

poem by: Anthony Blake

Only here to serve
More to me than you can see
Hideaway with me

Survivor of life
Survived your confused feelings
Survivor of love

Before the rain falls
Before the dust has settled
Before the love hurt

Return to the flame
A suicidal Angel
A paper doll girl

Baptized in her fire
Cut the love out like cancer
Dried up wishing well

Before the storm drops
Hideaway before feeling
The past a shadow

Step out from under
She’s too much to love or hate
A red moon awaits

Cut me loose she did
Was just different flavor
She’s blind to her self

Break in to my life
About what are we fighting
A moth to her flame
