0530

Do you watch the sun come up?
As it's brightness comes about?
I don't.
I watch the stars travel the night sky
The moon guiding their way
There's a full one tonight
Staring out the window
Seeing as it goes past the city skyline
It's not as bright as usual
But what's bright anymore?
It's a little dull, scuffed up.
I can relate.
It's 5:30 a.m.
And I lay here lost in thought
Night dreaming of brighter moons.
