Why I joined this Site.

Greetings fellow artists,

I'm new to this site as of now and hoping to make new friends. My primary goal of joining this site is to express and let out as many feelings as possible because I have been keeping too much of it inside. Poetry Is not only therapeutic but cathartic too and gives an insight to one's own character and feelings from a third-person perspective.
It would be lovely if people can feel my poetry and prose and share their views about it.
I don't write much, so please don't expect a lot of art from my side. Though I can assure, that when I write, It's straight from the depths of a shattered world I call my heart. Shattered means two things, one The world is broken. Second, The world reflects more than one perspectives, something only a broken mirror can do.

My Regards to my fellow Writers and Artists.
-Taha

Welcome Taha, through poetry I have met some wonderful people that I consider my good friends and you will too on this site. They say that the best poets, composers etc. are the ones who take their time, even years to create their brilliant work and I'm guessing that you fall into this category~I've enjoyed everything you've shared so far.

How could I think that I'd be loved? How could I think that I'd be heard? How could I think that i couldn't see any darkness within my heart of misery? The longing for a heart eats me inside. The breaking apart kills me i... Read more
