I'd like to be balanced

I'm now used to my two missing toes:
One I had never had, and one I lost.
But so often I think to myself
I would like to be balanced on both feet.
I want to chop off those same two toes from my right foot
I suppose in many ways I was quite fortunate that my big toes were short because when I lost my left one, I was already used to the effort my other toes had to put in.
