Sister, daughter, who's next

I was distraught when I lost my twin sister
I was angry when I lost my little girl
It was like my head was caught in a twister
Never a chance to have a new dress and give us a twirl

Who's next? Who else do I have to lose?

I've No true friends either:
When at my weakest, they turned and fled
Did it matter to them that my girls were dead?

Who's next on your list, Mr Reaper?

I feel for you in this poem Rhys......way back in the late 70s, we lost three members of our family in consecutive years......I asked the same question....."who are you going to take next?"........consider me a friend Rhys....✌🏻......
